Engineering a career


A tailored course for Guidance Teachers where you learn how to inspire pupils to consider a career in engineering.

A qualification available in 24/25 academic year now available and with full bursary funding (including £200 cover costs!).  

‘Engineering a Career’ is a new short course perfect for school career leads and guidance teachers.

The content in the course looks at tools to educate young people and colleagues on the diverse array of exciting engineering paths, and confidently signpost the relevant subject choices and career pathways.  As part of the 5 units, there are activities, competitions, meetings with top engineering professionals, and an industry site visits.  Specifically in Liverpool there are great links with Ford Halewood plant as funding is in part from Ford Philanthropy.
