Career Explorers

The Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) have worked in partnership with The PSHE Association to develop a suite of five free-to-download lesson plans for KS1-2 exploring
different careers and career pathways.
Career Explorers supports KS1 pupils to learn about strengths and interests, and how these might be suited to different careers. The KS2 lessons focus on the skills needed for different jobs, challenging career-related stereotypes and different work and study options available.

Barclays Life Skills – Exploring Careers and Workplace Skills

To prepare for the world of work, this lesson encourages pupils to explore the different jobs available and the skills needed for them. Pupils will also discover which core transferable skills can be applied to different jobs and reflect on which of these skills they already possess. Age range:  5-11
